Entry-level training in chemical peel treatments through online theoretical learning and face-to-face practical training. Covers skin anatomy, the principles of chemical exfoliation, peel types and indications, consultation, infection control, treatment protocols, risk management, and aftercare. Includes 9 hours online theory and 7.5 hours practical.

Professional Practice, Safety & Duty Of Care
This module introduces chemical peels as an advanced cosmetic skin treatment and explains the professional responsibilities involved in delivering them safely. Learners will explore legal, ethical, and safety considerations, as well as the importance of working within cosmetic scope and insurance requirements.
Skin Structure, Barrier Function & The Wound‑healing Response
This module explores the structure of the skin and explains how chemical peels interact with skin tissue. Understanding skin layers, barrier function, inflammation, and healing is essential for safe chemical peel practice and risk management.
Consultation, Indications, Contraindications & Client Risk Management
This module focuses on client consultation, suitability assessment, and risk management for chemical peel treatments. A thorough consultation is essential for client safety, ethical practice, and legal protection.
Peel Types, Strength, Ph & Treatment Parameters
This module explains how chemical peels work in practice, including peel categories, strength, pH, exposure time, and treatment parameters. Learners will understand how to select and apply chemical peels safely and why conservative treatment planning is essential to minimise risk.
Skin Reactions, Complications, Infection Control & Incident Management
This module focuses on recognising normal versus abnormal skin responses, understanding potential complications of chemical peels, and applying correct infection‑control and incident‑management procedures.
Aftercare, Healing Timelines & Client Support
This module focuses on the importance of aftercare in chemical peel treatments. Learners will understand how the skin heals following a peel, what responses are considered normal, how to recognise abnormal healing, and how clear aftercare communication protects both the client and the practitioner.
Case Studies, Treatment Planning & Applied Practice
This module helps learners apply theoretical knowledge to real‑world situations through case studies and treatment planning. Understanding how to assess different clients, identify risks, and plan safe chemical peel treatments is essential for professional practice and client safety.
Professional Development, Reflective Practice & Course Completion
This final module brings together all learning from the chemical peel course and focuses on professional responsibility, reflective practice, and continuing professional development (CPD).
